Indications:

• Treatment of focal (partial) seizures in adults, adolescents and children (with other medicines such as syrup or intravenously)
• Adjunctive therapy in the treatment of myoclonic seizures
• Adjunctive therapy in the treatment of primary generalized tonic-clonic seizures in adults and children 6 years of age and older with generalized idiopathic epilepsy.
• It can be used for other conditions not mentioned as well (check with your doctor or pharmacist).

Instructions for use:

• To be taken with or without food.
• Keep taking this medicine as your doctor or other health care provider has told you, even if you feel better.
• Take this medicine at the same time of day.
• Swallow the tablet whole. Do not chew or crush the medicine (you may break the tablet in half only when instructed to do so).

Warnings and precautions:

• Do not take this medicine in case of hypersensitivity (eg, anaphylaxis, angioedema) to levetiracetam or any component of the preparation.
• Use caution when using it on dialysis patients (dosage adjustment and close follow-up may be required)
• Do not stop taking the drug suddenly to avoid withdrawal symptoms of epileptic seizures and their rapid pace, but the dose is gradually reduced with the follow-up of a medical provider directly
• Elderly people (over 65 years of age) may need necessary dosage adjustments

The most common side effects:

• High diastolic blood pressure (especially infants and children less than 4 years old)
• Vomiting (especially children and adolescents)
• Infection
• Behavioral problems (including anger, anxiety, apathy, personality disorder)
• Headache, irritability, and weakness

Pregnancy and lactation:

A doctor should be consulted in case of pregnancy and breastfeeding.

• Store below 30°C.
