It is used to relieve symptoms and prevent bronchospasm due to asthma, chronic bronchitis, reversible airway obstructive disease and other chronic bronchial diseases in which bronchospasm is a complicating factor,

or acute prevention of bronchospasm induced by exercise and other stimuli known to induce bronchospasm
