What is Prosta-Tab PR 30 Tablets | 0.4 mg, what are the indications for its use and important instructions during use.

Prosta Tab contains an active substance called tamsulosin hydrochloride. This substance works to relax the muscles in the prostate and the urethra (the tube that carries urine from the bladder to the outside of the body), which helps to facilitate urine exit.

In the prostate gland, bladder, and urethra, there are specialized cells that contain alpha-A1 receptors, which cause muscle tension.

Indications

This medication is used to treat symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia.

Symptoms include difficulty starting to urinate, frequently going to the bathroom to urinate, and a feeling that the bladder has not completely emptied.

 Warnings and contraindications

Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to the active substance or any of the ingredients.

Precautions

If you experience low blood pressure or dizziness, you should sit and lie down until the symptoms are gone.
