Amlodipine 5 mg + valsartan 160 mg

Product uses

These two substances help control high blood pressure.

Amlodipine belongs to a group of substances called 'calcium channel blockers'. Amlodipine prevents calcium from moving into the blood vessel wall, which prevents the blood vessels from narrowing.

Valsartan belongs to a group of substances called 'angiotensin II receptor antagonists'. The body produces angiotensin II and makes blood vessels narrow, thus increasing blood pressure. Valsartan works by blocking the effect of angiotensin II.

How to use the product

It is not recommended to use this product except under the supervision of a doctor

Dosages may be changed in some cases under the supervision of a doctor

Pregnancy and lactation

If you are pregnant, plan to become pregnant, or while breastfeeding, consult a doctor

Warnings and precautions

Do not use the product if you are allergic to any of the ingredients

You have severe liver or bile problems such as biliary cirrhosis or cholestasis.

If you are more than 3 months pregnant. (Amlodipine/Valsartan is also best avoided in early pregnancy.)

If you have severely low blood pressure (hypotension).
