Indications:

• Complicated urinary tract infections and kidney infections in children and adolescents

• Note: Although effective, ciprofloxacin is not the first choice in children.

• Urinary tract infection
• Acute uncomplicated cystitis in females
• Chronic bacterial prostatitis
• Infections of the bones and joints
• Complicated intra-abdominal infections (in combination with metronidazole)
• Contagious diarrhea
• Typhoid fever
• Hospital-acquired pneumonia
• It can be used for other conditions not mentioned as well (check with your doctor or pharmacist).

Instructions for use:

• 500 mg to 750 mg twice daily (every 12 hours). The duration of treatment ranges from 5 to 14 days and may extend to 8 weeks in some cases.
• Dosages may differ from the above based on the doctor's recommendation and the patient's condition
• Take the medicine with or without food
• Do not take dairy products, antacids, multivitamins, or other products that contain calcium, magnesium, aluminum, iron, or zinc within 2 hours before or 2 hours after taking this medicine.

• Call your doctor right away if you have signs of nerve problems that may include: not being able to handle heat or cold; Change in sense of touch, burning, numbness, tingling, pain, or weakness in the arms, hands, legs, or feet.
• Contact your doctor immediately if you have signs of nervous system problems. These may include anxiety, bad dreams, difficulty sleeping, vision changes, dizziness, feeling confused, feeling nervous or angry, feeling restless, hallucinations (seeing or hearing things that are not there), new or worse behavior or mood changes such as depression, thoughts of suicide or seizures or severe headaches;
• Do not take it if you suffer from myasthenia gravis.
• This medicine is used only when other medicines cannot be used or if they do not work.
