What is Broncast?

Proncast contains montelukast 10 mg for the treatment of asthma and relief of asthma complications - 28 tablets.

How does the Proncast product work?

Montelukast acts as a leukotriene receptor antagonist, "one of the sensory transmitters in the body that acts by constricting the bronchi" by blocking the action of leukotriene on the D4 receptor in the lungs, which leads to reduced inflammation and smooth muscle relaxation.

How will Broncast benefit me medically?

For the treatment of chest allergy and "asthma" crisis and the prevention of asthma symptoms during the day and night.

For the treatment of adults aged 15 years and over who do not respond optimally to their medicines alone and need additional treatment.

It works to expand the airways resulting from exercise, thus breathing more comfortably and reducing the approaches.

How is Broncast taken?

The doctor or pharmacist decides the appropriate dose according to the patient's condition.

Adults 15 years and over: The recommended dose is one 10 mg tablet daily in the evening for 14 days.

Take with or without food.

If you miss a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is almost time for the second dose to avoid taking more than one dose at the same time.
