What is Annuva tablets and what are the indications for its use

• It belongs to fast-dissolving tablets

• Analgesics, anti-inflammatory and antipyretics

How does diclofenac work?

• Diclofenac is an anti-inflammatory drug that works as an anti-inflammatory and antipyretic to treat diseases.

Indications:

• Joint, muscle or tendon pain

• gout attacks; It is a common form of arthritis that is very painful. It usually affects one joint at a time (most often the big toe joint).

• Postoperative pain and swelling

• Sprains, strains, dislocations, fractures and other injuries

• Gynecological problems such as menstrual pain.

• Bone and joint inflammation such as rheumatoid arthritis, osteoporosis and ankylosing spondylitis.

• Back pain.

 How to use:

• Always take this medicine exactly as your doctor or pharmacist has told you.

• Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.

• Dosages may change from patient to patient based on your age, medical condition, and whether or not you are taking other medications.

• Take the tablet(s) with or just after a meal to reduce stomach upset

• The usual dose is 25-50 mg two or three times daily.

• Dosages can be changed in special circumstances, so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.

• If you take more than you should, talk to your doctor or go to a hospital right away.

• If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember unless it is nearly time for your next dose

• Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for a forgotten dose

side effects:

Although the following side effects are not common to everyone, some patients may complain of the following:

• Stomach pain, heartburn, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, indigestion, wind, and loss of appetite.

• Headache, dizziness and lightheadedness

• rash

• fast or irregular heartbeat (heart palpitations), chest pain, and heart disorders

•  

• The use of Rofenac D 50 mg quick-dissolving tablets during pregnancy and lactation

• If you are pregnant or breast-feeding, think you may be pregnant or are planning to have a baby, ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking this medicine.

• Your doctor will discuss the potential risks and benefits of using this medication during pregnancy and breast-feeding

Warnings and Precautions:

Before using this medicine, talk to your doctor or pharmacist if:

• You have a history of stomach bleeding or ulcers

• You are dehydrated, for example due to a prolonged bout of vomiting or diarrhoea.

• You have swelling due to fluid retention.

• You have a history of heart failure, or any other form of heart disease.

• You have a history of high blood pressure.

• You have any history of liver or kidney disease.

• You are being treated for an infection. This medicine can lower or mask a fever, which is a sign of infection.

• You have diabetes, high cholesterol, or are a smoker. It can increase the risk of heart disease.

• You are a woman trying to conceive.

• You are over 65 years old.

• Tell your doctor or pharmacist if you are taking, have recently taken, or might take any other medicines, including over-the-counter and prescription medicines, herbal supplements, vitamins, and nutritional supplements.

Preservation and storage:

• Store at a temperature below 25°C

• Do not refrigerate the medicine.

• Keep this medicine out of the sight and reach of children.

• Store in the original package to protect from moisture.

• Do not use this medicine after the expiry date which is stated on the carton/strip/label. The expiry date refers to the last day of the month.
