Romagel
Etofenamate belongs to the family of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
It works by inhibiting cyclooxygenase. These enzymes help make chemicals in the body called prostaglandins, which are released at sites of injury and cause pain and inflammation.
What are the uses of Romagel?
It is used to treat acute trauma, which includes: bruises, sprains, and joint pain, as a result of sports or daily activities, which are usually accompanied by pain, swelling, and sometimes bruising.
What are the contraindications of using Romagel ?
It is forbidden to use the drug without consulting a specialist doctor in the following cases:
Hypersensitivity to the components or to NSAIDs in general, such as diclofenac.
Children under the age of five.
The presence of infection or injury to the target skin area.
Open cuts or sores.
