Mechanism Of Action Of Paracetamol
Acts on the hypothalamus to produce an antipyretic effect, as fever develops when the hypothalamus is set to a higher-than-normal temperature.
May work peripherally to block pain impulse generation; may also inhibit prostaglandin synthesis in CNS


Therapeutic Indications Of Panda Caplets
Headache: a very common condition that most people will experience many times during their lives. The main symptom of a headache is pain in your head or face. This can be throbbing, constant, sharp, or dull.
Period pain
Backache
Rheumatic pain (joints pain)
Cold and flu
Sore throat
Mild arthritis pain (joints pain)
Muscle Pain
Toothache
Fever: a temporary increase in your body temperature.


Method Of Administration Of Panda Caplets
Adults, elderly and children aged 16 years and over:
Take 1 to 2 Caplets every 4 to 6 hours as needed for pain or fever (depending on your case).
Make sure not to exceed 8 Caplets in 24 hours.
Children aged 10-15 years:
Take 1 tablet every 4 to 6 hours as needed for pain or fever (depending on your case).
Do not exceed 4 Caplets in 24 hours.
Children under 10 years: Do not give Paracetamol Caplets to children below 10 years of age.
Do not give this medication to children for more than 3 days without talking to the doctor first.
Take a tablet with or without food.
Take a tablet with a full glass of water.
Do not take a higher than the recommended dose and do not take the medication more frequently than every 4 hours. If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.


Undesirable Side Effects Of Panda Caplets
Although it may be rare, some patients may experience undesirable side effects:
Signs of an allergic reaction, like rash; hives; itching; red, swollen, blistered, or peeling skin with
or without fever; wheezing; tightness in the chest or throat; trouble breathing, swallowing, or talking; unusual hoarseness; or swelling of the mouth, face, lips, tongue, or throat.
Signs of breathing problems like difficulty breathing. These signs are more likely to happen if you have previously experienced them after taking similar painkiller medications like aspirin and ibuprofen.
Sudden weight loss, nausea, yellowing of the skin and eyes, and loss of appetite.
Unexplained bleeding or bruising

Talk to your doctor if you are pregnant, plan on getting pregnant, or are breastfeeding. Make sure to discuss the risks and benefits that the medication can impose on you and the baby when you are pregnant.
