Indications:

Spasm or musculoskeletal pain

How to use:

Taken by mouth once daily 2 to 4 mg every 8 to 12 hours or bedtime

The total daily dose should not exceed 16 mg

Dosages vary for each patient, so you must refer to the private doctor and continuous follow-up

Do not take the medicine if:

If you are allergic to tizanidine, alpha-agonists, or any of the ingredients in the medicine

Kidney insufficiency

hepatic insufficiency;

Elderly people over 65 years of age (can be prescribed and used with caution according to the doctor's instructions)

The level of absorption of the drug may change in the fasting state, so follow-up and advice should be made regarding this

The effect of the medicine may conflict with or be affected by contraceptive medicines (consult your doctor or pharmacist).

The most important side effects (with common risk factors):
Increased liver enzymes without symptoms (the most important risk factor is people with underlying liver failure)

Low blood pressure and may lead to weakness, dizziness or fainting (usually appears with high doses, taking the drug with drugs that inhibit liver enzymes such as some antibiotics, taking the drug with some antihypertensive drugs, latent hepatic insufficiency)

Numbness (usually with high doses and may occur within 60 minutes, especially with alcohol users, taking the drug with liver enzyme inhibitors such as some antibiotics)

Withdrawal syndrome including hallucinations, high blood pressure, nausea, tremors and tachycardia (sudden discontinuation of the drug without tapering off previously, use of high doses, prolonged use of the drug)

Dizziness, drowsiness, asthenia

warning :

Treatment should not be stopped abruptly, but should be reduced gradually to avoid withdrawal symptoms, especially in patients with a history of heart, liver and kidney disease.

Pregnancy and lactation:

You should consult a doctor in case of pregnancy and breastfeeding.

Store at a temperature not exceeding 30°C.
