Use:

• It is used to treat type 2 diabetes mellitus in adult patients (18 years and over) that cannot be controlled by diet and exercise alone.
• It can be used without other medicines in patients who cannot take metformin (another diabetes medicine).
• It may also be used with other medications to treat diabetes.

How to use:

• According to the doctor's instructions.
• Usually one tablet daily.

Warnings and Precautions:

_ Do not use if you:

• Are allergic to any of the ingredients.
• if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

_ Use with caution:

• If you have severe liver or kidney problems.
• If you suffer from type 1 diabetes.
• If you are sick or have a fever, or you cannot eat or drink.
• If you are taking medicines that increase urine production (diuretics).
• If you are over 75 years old.
• If you are over the age of 85, do not start taking this medicine.
