Imodium should not be used as an initial treatment in cases of:

Acute dysentery (characterized by blood in the stool and a high temperature)

Acute ulcerative colitis

bacterial enteritis

Warnings and precautions:

It must be stopped immediately when constipation, flatulence, paralysis of bowel movement occurs

In cases of severe diarrhea when no improvement is noticed within 48 hours, you must stop taking Imodium and go to the doctor immediately

You should not take this medicine if you are allergic to loperamide or any of its ingredients
