Indications:

• Generalized anxiety disorder
• Acute depressive disorder
• Migraine (prevention)
• Complete numbness or severe agitation that causes collapse
• Obsessive-compulsive disorder
• panic disorder
• Post-traumatic stress disorder
• Premenstrual dysphoric disorder
• Social Anxiety Disorder
• It can be used for other conditions not mentioned as well (check with your doctor or pharmacist).

How to use:

• Take this medicine with food.
• Take this medicine at the same time of day.
• Keep taking this medicine as your doctor or other health care provider has told you, even if you feel better.
• Swallow the capsule whole. Do not crush, chew, or dissolve the capsule or its contents.
• You can sprinkle the contents of the capsule on apple juice
• Take the capsule with a full glass of water.

Warnings and precautions:

• Hypersensitivity to venlafaxine or any component of the preparation
• Interaction of the medicine with many medicines (ask your doctor or pharmacist and tell them your full medical history)
• The drug can cause central nervous system depression, which may impair physical or mental abilities (avoid performing tasks that require mental alertness).
• Be caution : patients with a recent history of myocardial infarction, unstable heart disease, cerebrovascular disease, or hyperthyroidism, patients with hepatic insufficiency, patients with renal insufficiency)
• Be caution : patients with previous seizure disorder
• The drug can cause a deficiency of sodium in the elderly
• It is preferable to use agents other than venlafaxine when treating major depressive disorder for the first time in females who are planning to become pregnant
