Mechanism Of Action Of Dimenhydrinate
dimenhydrinate acts as an antagonist for histamine H1 receptors.
Therapeutic Indications Of Dizinil Tablets
Dimenhydrinate is used to control dizziness associated with motion sickness.
Dimenhydrinate may also be used for nausea and vomiting.
Method Of Administration Of Dizinil Tablets
Take the medication exactly as recommended by your doctor. Talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you are not sure.
Take dimenhydrinate 30 to 60 minutes, with or without food, before traveling or before any activity that may trigger motion sickness.
Doses may be changed in special conditions so always follow your doctor's or pharmacist's instructions.
If you take more than you should, talk to a doctor or go to the hospital straight away.
If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember it unless it is nearly time for your next dose.
Do not take a double dose (two doses at the same time) to make up for the forgotten dose.

Warnings & Special Precautions while Taking Dizinil Tablets
Stop the medication right away and talk to your doctor or pharmacist if you develop allergic reactions such as shortness of breath, skin rash, swelling of the face or neck, decreased blood pressure, and dizziness.
Talk to your doctor if your symptoms are getting worse or are not improving after a few weeks have passed.
Talk to your doctor before starting this medicine if you have bronchial asthma (respiratory disease-causing respiratory problems like shortness of breath and wheezing) or if you have previously had a stomach ulcer (sore). Your doctor will be closely monitoring you if you have bronchial asthma or a history of stomach ulcers.
Do not repeat the same prescription without consulting your doctor first.
